Velvet Wasted

Velvet Wasted is an Austrian band that combines elements of rock and soul with modern
modern influences from indie and pop. Their music stands for
human and honest emotions, which they express through the interplay of
powerful and gentle riffs. The lyrics of Velvet Wasted
deal with the ups and downs of life - from loss and separation to hedonistic
hedonistic waste and ecstasy. ‘Flying and falling’ forms the
essence of their songs, with hope always resonating.

Schåttensprung is back with their latest single, Nacht in Mexiko, continuing the successful journey that first won them fans’ hearts with their 2023 debut, Drah di. The band seamlessly blends elements of country, rockabilly, and Austro-pop, creating a distinctive sound that sets them apart.

Remember the movie The Hangover? A similar adventure unfolds in Nacht in Mexiko: One of the Schåttensprung musicians wakes up after a wild night in a stranger’s house—only to find a ring on his finger. Meanwhile, La Nana (Grandma) is already in the kitchen, serving tacos and burritos. But with no memory of what happened, the big question remains: What on earth went down last night?
